As if Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris aka T.I.’s wife wasn’t busy enough starring in her own highly successful reality show, being a mom and mommager, producer, and celebrity wife, she is now executive producing a new reality television series called “The Real Hairstylists of Atlanta”. To announce the show to the Atlanta media, show producers Shante Traynham, Mimi Carpenter and Tiny held a press conference. Tiny brought along Dwight Eubanks (Real Housewives of Atlanta, Married to Medicine) to host.
The show’s producers describe the show as:
the new hottest trend setting show that has created a international buzz in reality TV. The all star celebrity cast will surely bring the glitz & glam from the swanky posh hair salons and clubs of Atlanta with a Hollywood style ingredient making a special recipe filled with excitement and drama in the hair, makeup and wardrobe beauty world industry.
Only problem here is the show has no network home! It appears executive producers Shante Traynham and Mimi Carpenter brought Tiny on board to help get the show more star power visibility and, ultimately picked up by a network. During the press conference, show producers were very tight lipped about which network would possibly air the show — the latest in a growing string of Atlanta-based reality shows. In fact, Shante stated the show was currently in the middle of a “bidding war”. I don’t know if that’s true or not but clearly these women are creating a buzz and that was the purpose of the press conference….I mean otherwise who would have a press conference for a show that hasn’t even been picked up! Only time will tell.
Some of the cast members listed on the show’s website include Darnayle Mizrahi, Terrence Davidson, NaChera “Cherry” Smith, and Jasmine Collins.
RCS SIDEBAR: Tiny didn’t look very happy during the press conference. Not sure if this is due to rumors about marital issues with hubby T.I. and his moving into an apartment over the weekend. Media was specifically advised against asking any questions related to her personal life so I have no idea but I wish her and her family well.
