Fllumae at New York Fashion Week 2021

The epitome of luxury and elegance, Pret-a-Couture and RTW brand Fllumae slayed the New York Fashion Week FW21 scene.  Model and influencer, Shateka Reed, @coatedmelanin_ stole the show with her smize and unmistakable regal aura, while sporting the collection. Fllumae is a contemporary fashion house with handcrafted garments that empower women with modesty at the forefront. This USA based label begun with four Muslim sisters with fashion and faith as the basis of their designs. Proving that femininity does not need to include bearing it all, or any skin for that matter.

This season’s presentation included  impeccably embellished hijabs, lux leathers and prints.  Stand out items that are currently available for pre-order include floral print and houndstooth suits, as well as velvet green suit pants with gold embellishments and pearls. Standing by the philosophy that no woman should ever feel forced to compromise fashion or faith, Fllumae is a truly refreshing take on what encompasses beauty and femininity in fashion.
