Trinidadian actress Lorraine Touissant will serve as the 2012 National Spokesperson for National Caribbean American Heritage Month.
Ms. Touissant was born in Trinidad and moved to Brooklyn at the age of 10. She has been a steady fixture on various television shows and series including Law & Order and Friday Night Lights. She also starred alongside Bridget Fonda in Point of No Return.
As spokesperson, Ms. Touissant will promote Caribbean American Heritage Month through Public Service Announcements.
Celebrate June as National Caribbean American Heritage Month.
