According to the New York Daily News, Lil Wayne and his entourage were detained and questioned by the U.S. Border Patrol after drug sniffing dogs found small amounts of marijuana on the tour buses. The tour buses were stopped near Corpus Christi, Texas. Lil Wayne was scheduled to perform in Texas, however, much to the chagrine of his fans, the show did not go on as planned. Lil Wayne has yet to be charged or arrested.
Recently, Lil Wayne aka Dwayne Carter plead guilty on gun possession charges and is scheduled to be sentenced on February 9. In that case, the gun was found on the tour bus. ! It is expected that the Grammy Award winning rapper will be sentenced to a year in jail.
I think Lil Wayne is taking this America’s Most Wanted thing a little too seriously!!! Maybe Lil Wayne should stop keeping guns and drugs on the tour bus – I’m just sayin’….
