Earthquake Shakes Eastern Caribbean

A 5.3-magnitude earthquake, with an epicenter 24 miles west-southwest of Codrington, Barbuda, was felt in several islands in the eastern Caribbean on Tuesday morning,

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the quake occurred at approximately 2:56 am local time at a depth of 30.4 miles and was felt the strongest in St Kitts and Nevis and St Eustatius, and to a lesser extent in Antigua and Barbuda, and St Maarten.

No reports of damages or injuries have been received.
