The annual Atlanta Caribbean Jerk Festival took place over the Labor Day weekend. The brainchild of Glenn Simmonds, a local Jamaican businessman, the event entered its 6th year with a big sponsor from Grace Foods. The spirits of the festival goers were not to be dampened by the constant, albeit much needed, rainfall. Instead, attendees armed with umbrellas, rain sllicks, hats and any other necessary rain attire came to enjoy the food and festivities.
This year’s entertainment featured the world-renowned Grammy-Nominated reggae group Third World, dancehall favorite Mr. Vegas and Atlanta’s own reggae favorite Errol Moore. Check out the pictures and check back soon for video!!!
