The two-day competition will represent elite track and field athletes from across the United States and the Caribbean. Atlanta Georgia Relays (AGR) welcomes athletes of all ages. Youth, Open, and Masters participants will have the opportunity to compete and represent their respective countries. What makes this competition unique? Competition is fierce. Athletes are coming from all over the world to compete. There will be vendors, live music, and most importantly FUN.

Guess who will be at the 2018 edition of AGR?

Kevona Davis of Edwin Allen High School. Kevona is the record holder in class 2 in the 100m (11:16) and 200m (22:72). 12-year-old sensation, Briana Lyston of Jamaica! She is the fastest youth in the world; holding records in the 100m and 200m.  Brianna has taken the track world by storm. Master runners Karnell Vickers, Julia Curran Villarreal, and Sean Burnett will also attend the AGR. Vickers returned to track & field three-years ago, after 26-years away from the sport. In 2017 Vickers won 6 Gold Medals at USATF National Outdoor Championships in the M50. 2017 Canadian Indoor Nationals M50 Won 2 Gold Medals. Villarreal is ranked #1 as a Master’s High Jumper in the United States and South America, a title she has held since 2015. She is also a three-time national USATF champion in the W55 high jump. In 2017, Burnett was ranked #1 in the world M35 60m National Champion. He was a member of the world record holding M35 4×200 as well as the M30 4×100 American Record Holder.
In 2017, AGR saw 1,500+ athletes; comprising of local, national, and world distinguished honorees representing countries such as USA, Jamaica, Bahamas, Guyana, and Trinidad & Tobago, and many of other countries. In recognition of the success by Team USA and the Bahamas at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, track and field gold medalist Natasha Hastings, and Shaunae Miller made appearances to sign autographs and participate an intimate “Meet and Greet” sessions.
