Pop singers from TV One’s R&B Divas gathered in an Atlanta recording studio Monday night to catch the recording of a new single – a duet with Syleena Johnson and Musiq Soulchild, from their upcoming collaborative album, titled “9INE.”
In the video, R&B Divas star Monifah, Johnson and Musiq, are seen vibing, dancing and naturally enjoying the moment while listening to the playback of the duet, which was produced by Pop-Reggae impresario Kemar ‘Flava’ McGregor.
The project features Musiq, Syleena and McGregor blending the genres of pop, R&B and reggae into a unique new style, rich with infectious melody and soulful harmony, and exploring new creative territory collectively.
The video was taken the day before a taping of R&B Divas, Season 2. The duet album, “9INE,” is schedule for release July 9, 2013.
