The Misha Kaura Fall/Winter 2018 collection embodied a unique collection of hues, patterns, embroidery, and florals. Each look told a unique story through elegant dressing. This collection marked Misha Kaura’s second launch of formal wear.

The young designer started her career in skin research and began to pursue her passion for fashion in May 2017.  Her collection embodied classic and elegant gowns with a modern approach. Each look was timeless as well as luxurious. What I found consistent within this collection were the versatile silhouettes of the dresses.  Her goal is to empower woman who come from different walks of life with many different body types.  The pieces were not confined to any age group. A young millennial could be seen strutting in her elegant gowns and even a baby boomer! This is what makes her style of clothing so unique!

Misha Kaura’s inspiration from her previous collection and her current Fall/Winter 2018-line stem from her winters exploring Chandigarh, Mumbai and New Delhi. Her overall majesty of India truly inspired this collection. She also took influences from her travels to Australia, Asia, and throughout the Middle East. She is best known for her east meets west designs. She truly accomplished that aesthetic with this line. The make-up and accessories were minimal allowing the intricate detailing of the dresses to truly shine. These garments would be ideal for a stylish woman with elegance and substance. Misha Kaura is making a name for herself and she is and here to stay.
