A few days ago, an obviously frustrated Majah Hype made an announcement via Instagram that he would no longer be performing on the Ubersoca Cruise. Majah Hype, arguably the most popular and prominent Caribbean comedian of this generation, knows his worth.
Majah Hype’s decision apparently stems from a compensation issue. He made it clear that he knew his worth and wouldn’t settle for anything less.

He is definitely a hot commodity right now and I’m pretty sure this announcement on such a public platform didn’t sit well with the Ubersoca Cruise team. However, at this writing, I have not seen a public response from the Ubersoca team but I’m pretty sure Majah could care less since he’s busy and booked.
Earlier this year, the Jamaican comedian kicked off his “Are You Dumb” world comedy tour which is scheduled to run through November. Additionally, he is currently working on The Majah Hype Show, a sketch comedy program set for premiere on BET in June and plans to begin production on his second film very soon. You go boy!
