Join us in celebrating: Diversity, Community, Culture, & Creativity and TASTE THE WORLD!

Atlanta, GA: the epicenter of opportunity, growth, and progress of the Southeast. Though Atlanta has long held a well-earned name for itself, it has, in recent years, experienced exponential growth in nearly every area: economically, politically, and structurally.

Rich in historical happenings; brimming with countless food, music, and cultural events; and always alive with an energy that can only be found here, this city has drawn in tens thousands of new residents over the last decade, each year more than the last. The growth in population has certainly impacted traffic for the worse but has only beckoned positive things for the sense of community and collaboration.

It’s no secret that ATLiens (as some like to call us) embrace and uphold the concept of hospitality like no one else, and we pride ourselves on it. A large part of what makes this metropolis so great is our recognition, appreciation, and everyday celebration of individuality, and how each unique contribution makes a significant impact on the bigger picture of our concrete jungle.

Enter: the Atlanta International Night Market (AINM), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which seeks to bring Atlanta together for a dynamic celebration of our diverse community.

Night markets, at their origin, are an Asian concept, most often found in the East and Southeast regions, but also in Eastern European nations. They feature a fantastical, carnival-like aura, often flaunting white canvas tops and bright lights, and occupy at least one road or block within the city. Night markets are typically a permanent part of the neighborhoods in which they are built – never “closing,” but instead hosting different vendors within the same space during the daytime. Their profitability can be essential to communities, fostering the growth of individual businesses as well as the overall economy.

The inaugural Atlanta International Night Market is set to take place this Spring.

Location:
Gwinnett Place Mall

Duluth, GA

Dates & Times:

Friday, April 21st: 5 p.m. to midnight
Saturday, April 22nd: 5 p.m. to midnight
Sunday, April 23rd: 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The three-day occasion will promote local Atlanta businesses, as well as over 200 independent vendors selling clothing, jewelry, art, and other merchandise-centric to over 70 countries and their respective cultures. Anticipated 50,000+ patrons will get to experience music, street entertainment, and authentic cuisine in a vibrant nighttime atmosphere that will undoubtedly be one of the most unique and impressive experiences of the season.

The purpose of the event, according to the board of founders, is multifaceted: to project a message of inclusion; to give back to the community, and to put Atlanta “on the map” as the ethnically distinctive hub that it is. And in a time when current affairs swirl around conflict and division, there couldn’t be a better moment for Atlanta to host this landmark.

There will be a Caribbean presence at this historic event.  In addition to Caribbean vendors and a host of Caribbean food vendors there will also be Caribbean entertainers including:
