ATL Live On The Park Returns For Season 9

Opening Night Performances include R&B Artists Colonel Loud and Rico Barrino, Reign, and Hamilton Park with special guest host Kenny Burns

 
For the 9th year, ATL Live on the Park, presented by Gentleman Jack, will bring music creatives, diverse audiences, and the entire industry together at Park Tavern at Piedmont Park. Co-produced by entertainment veterans Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols, season 9 will kick-off with break-out performances by Atlanta’s own Hamilton Park, R&B/Pop Artist Reign and a special set by Colonel Loud and Rico
Barrino performing their hit single “California”. Season 9 will also see the return of key events including the highly- anticipated all white party in August, more new artist performances and the annual Hip-Hop Pro Awards in September. The 2018 season is set to build on the momentum from last year’s edition, which saw record setting attendance numbers from recent years. The 2017 line-up featured performances from Chante Moore, Swift, Hero the Band, Keith Robinson, Verse Simmonds, Avery Wilson, Joe Gifted, JK Howells, Kari Epps, Katy Shotter and more. This year, guests can expect to see familiar faces from previous seasons and more surprise performances by some of the biggest names in R&B and hip-hop. Returning as a special guest host to kick off season 9 is the Lifestyle Specialist

Kenny Burns. DJ Bad will debut as the resident DJ for season 9 along with live music performances by Atlanta’s own Quinn and the Jukebox.
 
Since 2010, ATL Live on the Park has grown into a cultural phenomenon that provides a platform for new artists to showcase their talent to be discovered. The event has also hosted surprised performances by top-tier talent including Akon, Andra Day, Chante Moore, Kelly Price, Miguel, Jagged Edge, Dave Hollister, Swift, Too Short, T.I and many more. Music executives such as Mike Kyser, Steve Rifkin, Kawan ‘KP’ Prather, Kenard Gibbs of Soul Train, Hurricane Dave of Radio One and Catherine Brewton of BMI have all been in attendance to check out new talent birthed in Atlanta’s own backyard.
