Incarcerated and embattled dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel hasn’t missed a beat (literally) since being imprisoned over a year ago. Vybz Kartel and his brand has flourished despite him being incarcerated. Critics have implied that he is in violation of the rules of the prison which restricts him from recording while in captivity.
Music Producer Elvis Redwood, was recently interviewed by Winfred Williams of OnStage, and disclosed that he has been producing music for Vybz Kartel in his absence for some time now. According to Redwood, the controversial dancehall artist has a music catalog over 50 songs recorded prior to his incarceration. The songs are then produced, videos are created, songs released and music is made available for sale on iTunes. Can you say cha ching? Check out the video.
