The Billboard Music Awards went down on Sunday in Las Vegas, Nevada. Most memorable moment from the night had to be Miguel’s crash landing on an audience member’s head as he tried to jump across the pit! Thankfully, both artist and fan are okay!
My other memorable moment had to be Prince’s performance. Aaaaah Prince…..young artists and musicians have so much to learn from this man. He sings live for one thing unlike many of the performers on Sunday night’s show who opted for the voice-over track! But not only does Prince sing live, he is a master at delivering a great performance from vocals, guitar mastery and sheer inimitable raw talent!
Although Rihanna was up for 10 awards she was not present at the awards show….Riri ain’t got time fo dat! Despite her absence Rihanna racked up four awards with Nicki Minaj not far behind with three. Kudos to our Caribbean pop princesses!
