Do you remember that infamous Cosby show episode where Denise Huxtable (played by Lisa Bonet) had a date who decided he would be a one-man reggae concert! The young couple sang along to Black Uhuru’s Spongi Reggae and even remixed it with “Hey Mon” ad libs! The scene went down in Cosby Show history as one of the most memorable moments on television.
Fast forward two or three decades to Bill Cosby’s recent appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon where Cosby was greeted with this same music! Cosby decided to show off his Spongi Reggae moves (or lack thereof!). Dead wit laugh!
