St Kitts and Nevis PM invites Atlantis Hotels to Invest

BASSETERRE, St Kitts (CUOPM) — St Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Dr Denzil Douglas has invited a top official of the company that owns the Atlantis Hotels in The Bahamas and Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates to pursue a high-end boutique resort in St Kitts and Nevis.

Douglas issued the invitation to chief executive officer of Kerzner International Management, Alan Leibman in a meeting at The Atlantis in Dubai during his recent visit.

Douglas suggested that the resort could be built either on Nevis or St Kitts.

Leibman has accepted the invitation to visit and has expressed an interest in pursuing the development of a 126-room high-end boutique hotel.

During his talks with Douglas, Leibman commented on the quality of service at the Four Seasons in Nevis.

An agent of the company is to visit St Kitts and Nevis this week to explore possibilities.
