The reigining princess of pop Rihanna (aka bad girl Riri) is definitely no stranger to magazine covers. It doesn’t matter if the Bajan beauty Rihanna is on the cover of Vogue or London’s i-D magazine, she is comfortable in her skin.
The i-D Magazine look is one of my favorites. Her homegirl, box-braids hairdo styled with a Celine shirt is the epitome of a good ol’ homegirl from Barbados gone bad! Rihanna is channeling Bad Gal Riri to the max with her piercing doe-shaped eyes as her barely parted lips hold back untold truths!
“She really is one of the most creative, talented and inspiring women I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with,” says i-D’s Fashion Director Alastair McKimm, who teamed up with Rihanna and Paolo Roversi for i-D’s cover shoot in Paris. “The energy and enthusiasm she brings is intense. She’s the ultimate icon of our time.”
i-D, a London-based music magazine selected Robyn Rihanna Fenty, the reigning queen of pop, for their music issue to celebrate her soon to be released eighth studio album, R8 (the details of which so hush hush the rumor mill is abounding with speculations on possible collabs, producers, etc.) The recent surprise release of FourFiveSeconds, Rihanna’s new song featuring Kanye West and Sir Paul McCartney is just the beginning!
