“A Long Way” boasts a world-class team of musicians who contributed to Errol’s “Moore niceness” formula, as he tapped vocal skills of long-time friend and industry veteran Erica Newell (Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers; Stephen Marley; Lucky Dube); Ryan Wilson on Electric Bass; Live Acoustic Drums overdubs from Harris MacIntosh; and Keyboard overdubs from Omar Webster.
“A Long Way” delivers the message, that in our efforts to change a world that often seems to work against us, we have the ability to be the catalysts for the change we seek. We are, indeed, powerful. Moore speaks of the power given to us by the Most High to change our outcomes. But his overarching message is even clearer: We’ve come a long way, but we’re not done yet “we still have a ways to go”.
