Redcarpetshelley.com is a Caribbean website that talks about all the latest and greatest of your favorite Caribbean celebrities, culture, carnival, fashion, sports, current events and more. Red Carpet Shelley is the media personality who makes it all happen.
We are looking for an intern (college student) who is self motivated, has a positive attitude, willing to go the extra mile. Your course of study should be mass communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing.
We are looking for someone Caribbean (or descent) who stays up to date with Caribbean current events, entertainment, celebrity news and more. Redcarpetshelley.com wants someone that when they work it turns into results.
RCS also wants someone that can multi-task and help create on-brand creative content across our social media platforms including the blog, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Also maintain and help grow our social media platforms. Interact and engage with our audience/ Followers. Upload and schedule articles and social media messaging.
- An energetic and proactive professional with a strong interest in Caribbean culture and social media.
- Available 2-3 days per week including some weekends and virtual assistance (please note that hours are variable)
- Attend events (red carpets, banquets, parties, fashion shows, meetings, etc.)
- Avid user of social media including Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Loves to constantly scour the web for inspiration (for creative content) to help bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Create engaging blog and social media content
- Hands-on experience delivering creative content (text, image, and video)
- Must have access to transportation, computer and mobile phone
- Provide support to at live and online events
- Self motivated, have a positive attitude, organized, and punctual
- Knowledge of the Atlanta community is a plus
- Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics is a plus
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
