RCS Rising Star: Trinidad Pop Artist Shazelle Named Winner Of Best Indi-Pop Award

Shazelle was among some of the big winners at this year’s 103FM ‘The First & Finest’ 12th Hall of Fame and Music Awards. The Trinidad pop singer/songwriter took home the award for ‘Best Indi-Pop’ (Indian Pop) from one of Trinidad’s leading station’s 103FM (The First, The Finest) for her single, “If We Fell In Love” (Hindi Version)

“If We Fell In Love” was co-written by Shazelle, Rupert Gayle, Justin Forsley, Keo, and Louie Grants. The Hindi version was produced by Justin Forsley, vocal produced by Pama Sarai and translated by Ria. The official video was shot in Romania and has well over 44K views on YouTube!

Currently, Shazelle is working on her debut album release for Japan and other global markets. She is also set to team up with local personalities lending her voice in a local animated film to be released in August 2013.  Shazelle is a signed artist to Universal Canada, Universal Middle East and JVC Japan. She’s on a mission to connect with people all around the world. She is also a songwriter signed to Caribbean music publishing company, C2W Music. She has released several singles and music videos over the last five years including “Pick Me Up”, “Elevator”, “I Need Love,” “If We Fell in Love”, “State Of Emergency,” and her latest single “The Power Inside.” She has traveled to many places working with world-class songwriters and producers, touring and performing and honing her song writing skills.
