Artistix the denim line founded by designer and artist Greg Polliseni, presented his sophomore collection for New York Fashion Week Men’s Spring 17. His partner in design and Creative Director is Andy Hilfiger, who is the iconic fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger’s brother. The collaboration between the two created an edgy, rock infused collage.
The artwork executed on the clothing was abstract and the simplicity of the black and white assortment with a hint of color, made for an easy melding of each design to flow into one another. Denim and leather was the core fabrics used to create funky printed overalls, blazers, jackets, vests and jumpsuits. I would describe the pieces as eclectic with a classic flair for a trend setter.
