According to Jamaican dancehall entertainer Macka Diamond, her entourage members Karl Antonio Larmond and Garnett Rohan Kennedy were simply at the “wrong place at the wrong time”.  The two men, both from Jamaica, were arrested and charged with larceny in St. Kitts last week.

On August 28th 2015 at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort at Frigate Bay a laptop belonging to the hotel went missing.  Lamond and Kennedy purported entourage members of Macka Diamond (who was visiting St. Kitts/Nevis for a weekend event) were fined EC$5,700 each, $3,000 of which would be paid to the state and the remaining $2,700 to be paid as compensation to the virtual complainant. Macka Diamond is seeking to clear the air on the matter.

In an interview with Irie FM, Macka Diamond suggested that the booking agent actually stole the laptop and then brought it to the room of her road manger Howie Don.  According to the “Dye Dye” sonstress, once authorities arrived, they “locked up everybody”.

This is the second time such an incident has occurred in St. Kitts this year. In June, Mark Price, the brother of Jamaican dancehall artist Bounty Killer was arrested at the RLB International Airport for stealing a cell phone from a customer service representative. He was fined with $6000.
