Kirani James of Grenada wins Olympic Gold mens 400 meter

Some of the highlights include 19 year Kirani James securing the first ever Olympic medal for his country of Grenada and he did it in grand style bringing home the Gold.  Usain Bolt winning 3 more Gold medals, hushing his dubious doubters and securing his “legendary” status in the Olympic history books will not be soon forgotten!  And the Jamaican team as a whole showed up and showed out!  Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce taking home 1 Gold and 2 Silver.   And, let us not forget the unforgettable world record set by the Jamaican men in the 4×100 meter race and the Trinidadian team who took the Bronze in that same race!

Also, hats off to Keshorn Walcott, securing the only gold medal for his country of Trinidad and a huge RCS biggup to the men’s Bahamas track team winning gold in the Men’s 4×400-meter relay beating out the favorites United States and Jamaica!

All in all, a great showing for the Caribbean region and I cannot wait for Rio!
