Leanne Marshall continues to reign supreme on the runway for New York Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2016. Her formal gowns were phenomenal as always. Luxurious silk chiffon, organza and silk wools draped the models in Leanne’s signature plunging neckline and illusion styled gowns. The assortment of gowns and dresses consisted of hand painted details, beading and pleating.
Since her win on Project Runway in 2008 Leanne Marshall has been unstoppable. Each season she continues to stay consistent to her brand and brings us effortless pieces. Always sexy, sassy, yet classy is how I would describe her designs. Her color palette this season was in line with colors of fall with rust, burgundy, mustard and bronze along with tried and true eveningwear tones of black and silver.
As per usual Leanne drew a few “A” list crowd attendees such as Ta’Rhonda Jones from “Empire” and Miss Universe 2015, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. Here are a few looks from the collection that was shown at Skylight Moynihan.
