This year, the celebration of Caribbean-American Heritage is significant, especially for Jamaica and Trinidad both of which will celebrate 60 years of independence from Great Britain. Meet Atlanta’s leading voice of the Caribbean-American Diaspora, Red Carpet Shelley when she joins local chef and soon to be restaurateur, Andrane Cummings, this Sunday, June 5th at the Deshon Plaza Publix in Stone Mountain. The Caribbean pop-culture maven will appear from 1pm to 3pm. Chef Cummings, founder of Flair Food Events, will prepare succulent jerk chicken morsels and trimmings for locals to sample. This tasty treat is presented by GraceFoods and brought to you by Publix. The Grace Summer Chill & Grill experience continues every Sunday in June at various area Publix Supermarkets.
