George Lucus, the famous “Star Wars” Hollywood director, appeared on the The Daily Show with Jon Stewart to discuss his upcoming movie ‘Red Tails’.  Lucas discusses his difficulty in getting the movie produced because of its all black cast.

Its disheartening to know that in this day and age producing a movie with an all black cast still gets rebuked in Hollywood.   With this being said, WE need to go out and support this movie.   The movie, albeit filled with Hollywood dramatic license, tells an important historical story.   If we don’t support movies about our history, who will?
“Red Tails,” which stars Cuba Gooding, Jr., and Terrence Howard, is based on the Tuskegee Airmen, the group of pioneering black pilots who fought in the United States’ segregated armed forces during World War II. The movie is directed by Anthony Hemingway, a black director!.
