Comedian Michelle Buteau’s effervescent, bouncy, and sunny appearance is betrayed by her devilish wit and that’s what makes her so entertaining.

The comedic diva recently appeared on The Wendy Williams Show on the ‘Hot Talk Panel’ which is a highly coveted position.  While discussing the topics at hand she proudly made reference to her Caribbean heritage. Turns out her parents are from Jamaica and Haiti. She has also appeared on George Lopez’ Lopez Tonight, as well performing numerous sketches on the show as the ‘Barrio Mom’, ‘Neutrogena Vega’, and touring with George and his “Viva La Risa” tour.

She has also performed at countless prestigious comedy festivals, such as Seattle’s Bumbershoot, Aspen’s HBO, and the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, but she’s most recognized for her performances on Seasons 5 and 6 of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”. And, after her appearances on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend” and Paramount Comedy Network’s “The World Stands Up” show, she has proved to be a network favorite, and HGTV’s “25 Worst Mistakes” series can’t get enough of this hot talent.

Michelle has also shared more then her opinion on VH1′s “Best Week Ever” and “Black to the Future”, MTV’s “Walk of Shame” & “Hatin’”, and E!’s “50 Most Outrageous Celebrity Moments”.

Michelle was born in New Jersey and uses her inherited Caribbean wit to amuse her fans. She truly has an international following, with regular appearances in London, Dublin, and Amsterdam. When she isn’t touring the country performing at colleges and clubs, she hosts her weekly web series “Things you should know with Michelle Buteau” at www.thingsyoushouldknowwithmichellebuteau.blogspot.com.

Catch her on stage when you can and see comedy’s mistress blend her Jamaican-Haitian sassiness and girl-next door quality into a show that is anything but routine.
