Singer OMI took to the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles Sunday night and loved the energy. The Jamaican singer is set to drop his brand new album “Me 4 U,” on Oct. 16.
During a red carpet interview, OMI told the International Business Times that he “released a single two days ago called ‘Hula Hoop’ and the reviews have been great,” OMI dished. “I’m on tour right now, but it’s mostly promo so it’s like getting it all out there. People want to see the man behind the song, so I can appreciate that.”
The 28-year-old Jamaican-born singer is best known for his current hit song “Cheerleader,” which was certified platinum in the United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Italy, Germany and Australia. Gwaan OMI!!
