Music will be in the air in the United States Virgin Islands this summer.

On the heels of the St. John Festival carnival celebration to be held over the July 4th holiday weekend, its sister island St. Thomas will take its turn to host America’s Paradise USVI Music Festival featuring top tier musicians and entertainers from July 16 to 19.

The summer festival features the likes of Barrington Levy, Destra, Don Omar, Third World, Cedric The Entertainer, Future, and the Virgin Islands’ own reggae sensation Pressure Busspipe.

“Special events such as Music Fest help to drive business throughout the summer months,” said Beverly Nicholson-Doty, Commissioner of Tourism for the United States Virgin Islands. “We are looking forward to, not only enjoying some great music and entertainment, but also welcoming many visitors and festival goers to Charlotte Amalie next month,” she added.

To encourage travelers, special packages are available at Bolongo Bay Beach Resort, Pavilions & Pools Hotel, and Sapphire Beach Condominium Resort.

Room rates start at USD $160 per night, plus applicable tax and service charges; bookings require a 3-night minimum stay.

The package includes $300 in certificates for shopping, dining and activities, a festival T-shirt and backpack.

Visitors must use booking code “FEST-15” to secure the special package.
