Guyana will be hosting its National and Regional Elections shortly, but soon after, Hits and Jams Entertainment will be rolling out its 2015 entertainment master plan in collaboration with Mc Neil Enterprise.
Several mega events are being planned by the groups that will further boost the entertainment industry and the quality of entertainment in Guyana.
According to several polls, in 2015, Guyanese have been longing to see several international acts grace our shores with performances: Usher, Machel Montano, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, Rihanna, Machel Montano and Jamaican rising reggae star Chronixx.
HJ Director Kerwin Bollers, during a telephone interview with the Guyana Times Entertainment, stated that discussions were already underway with several of the artistes that will make Guyanese quite happy.
If all goes well, according to sources, Chronixx might be the headlining act at the official opening of the Hits and Jams Water Park at Providence, East Bank Demerara some time in May. The others will perform at several super concerts before the end of 2015.
Guyanese will now have to keep their fingers crossed and hope that these discussions go down well with the respective artists and their managers. Last year, Guyanese would have seen several top quality artistes, including John Legend and others. Guyana, it’s time to brace yourself for an experience of a lifetime.
