A group of Barbadian singers and musicians are coming together to help raise awareness of the needs of dialysis patients here in Cayman. Now living in Grand Cayman, George Jones – a founding member of soca band Square One – needs dialysis here at the Cayman Islands Hospital three times a week.
The group of musicians which included Alison Hinds, rupee, john Roett, blood, biggie irie, mikey, took time out of their schedule to perform at a benefit concert Friday (15 November), in which proceeds will go towards a new machine of the HSA Dialysis Unit and help to fund a kidney transplant for Mr. Jones.
