Looks like Akon just opened a gem of a super club. The mega super mogul and hitmaker recently embarked on his new business venture ‘Akon’s Jewel’ located in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The 10,000 square foot nightclub just opened this past Memorial Day weekend to a whopping foot stomping, fist pumping crowd!
Not only did Akon make history by being the largest club in DR, Akon himself sang as the inaugural performance! Celebrity mix master DJ Smash Kash was on the wheels of steel (does anybody even say ‘wheels of steel’ anymore?) for the lavish fete.
