Soca sensation Ricardo Drue was pronounced dead at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre around noon Tuesday.
He was rushed to the hospital after being found unresponsive in his room.
Drue had been scheduled to fly out of the island later this afternoon
Family members and the entertainment fraternity are gathering at the hospital following this shocking news.
Ricardo is survived by five children including one daughter with his Soca Superstar fiancee Patrice Roberts.
