Evelyn Lozado Files for Divorce from Chad Ochocinco

After only 41 days of marriage, Evelyn Lozada is filing for divorce from hubby Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson following his arrest for domestic violence for allegedly headbutting his new wife.  Danika Berry, a rep for the VH1 reality star, confirmed reports that Lozada filed for divorce on Tuesday.

For the life of me, I don’t know why these two got married in the first place!!!   Honestly, people made fun of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humpries but at least their marriage lasted 72 days, there was no violence, not only was the wedding was paid for, it aired on national television!  VH1 has pulled the plug on the show “Ev and Ocho” and now we will never see the crazy nuptials that took place last month on July 4.

Did Ochocinco not watch the same Basketball Wives show that I did?  Did he miss the episodes where Evelyn fought Tami, threw a wine bottle at Kenya and flew across a table to fight Jennifer?  This chick is muy caliente!  Now, I don’t know what the heck happened but word is Ev found a receipt for a condom purchase and we can imagine what happened after that.   Chad should be ashamed of himself for allegedly hitting his wife and should have been better prepared for the wrath that is Evelyn Lozada!

Ochocinco released a statement following the messy events:

I would like to apologize to everyone for the recent events that have occurred.  I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death. I will continue to be positive and train hard for another opportunity in the NFL. To all the fans and supporters I have disappointed, you have my sincerest apologies.  I will stay positive and get through this tough period in my life.

Now Chad has no team, no wife and no TV show but he’s still got baby mamas so he better figure out how the heck he’s going to pay his bills and fast!   Quite naturally, the next lost of income will be from any endorsement deals currently in place and the probably loss of any pending deals.  Good luck Chad!  I hope you remain financially stable for the sake of your children.   Evelyn, get a new therapist, the anger management ain’t working!

RCS SIDEBAR:   I don’t think we’ve heard the last of these two.   Its a thin line between love and hate!  Memba, you heard it here first…
