Jamaican reggae singer Errol Moore’s highly anticipated single “Free Your Mind” dropped last week along with the lyric video. Errol discussed the inspiration for this song during his single release party last week .
Inspiration came from just the basic way we grew up as a Jamaican. We grew up in a mindset of freedom with the rasta man dem round the lane and the ketta drums beating in my granny front yard. When I say we meaning Caribbean people in general we grew up with a mentality of freedom. This is something that stayed with us as we grew. In every island that I’ve ever been, I’ve seen this mentality in terms of … you can call it rebelliousness. We get rebellious against things that are inhumane to us.
