Produced by Rootz Warrior Productions, the uptempo one drop riddim is anchored by a sensual saxophone refrain that provides the perfect sound bed for Warrior King’s whimsical musings on life and love:
We were once strangers
Now we’re lovers
It’s amazing how the journey of life unfolds
The devout Rastafarian singer is known for songs like his debut single “Virtuous Woman” that uplift and empower women. Speaking on the new material, Warrior King offered, “’Once Strangers’ is a relatable song which was inspired by a real life experience.” Warrior King is managed by his Queen, Leslie-Anne Dyer, who is also featured on the single cover artwork. The loving husband continued, “in any relationship both individuals were actually once strangers and then become intimate to become lovers. So I came with a fresh and unique style on a fresh reggae riddim with the perfect saxophone lead.”
