Dancehall reggae artist Sizzla Kalonji has hit a roadblock on his now defunct U.S. tour. The Jamaican artist can’t seem to catch a break. The artist hasn’t had a U.S. visa since 2008 and doesn’t look like this is going to change anytime soon. The highly anticipated tour was set to begin November 19 in Atlanta but is now indefinitely delayed.
Stephen Brush, Sizzla’s booking agent told the Jamaica Observer
“I am deeply saddened by the news, and I can say this is one of the worst weeks in my career,” Brush said. “It is not a dead issue, but I am no longer comfortable waiting and seeing. What I would like to do is postpone the tour and look at re-booking it for February and March.”
According to RCS sources close to the situation, the visa issues pertain to ongoing unresolved legal issues faced by Sizzla Kalonji nee Miguel Collins.
