Kelly Rowland loves to ‘rock’ with Caribbean mega producers Rock City of the St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Kelly recently worked with them on her new song ‘Kisses Down Low’ which they co-wrote. Rock City is a US Virgin Island-born American R&B duo, composed of brothers Timothy and Theron Thomas. Rock City only works with super stars like Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige and Gyptian to name a few. Not only did they co-write the song they actually have a cameo in the video (I can’t wait to see that).
Rowland says:
“For the record “Kisses” I actually went into the studio with Mike Will (producer) and Rock City and it just came about the way they started singing the chorus because the beat was already so crazy as soon as we heard it. It just came together really easy. It’s always easy working with Rock City“.
These days Kelly Rowland seems to be in serious hustle mode. It was only a few weeks ago that she was just off the 20 yard line performing in a mini Destiny’s Child reunion at the Superbowl in New Orleans (aka Beyonce Bowl). Then Destiny’s Child alum co-hosted the Oscar red carpet pre-show and is preparing to host 2013 ‘Rip The Runway’. Check out her behind the scenes video!
