Etana teams up with London based producer/ rapper Cold Fever to deliver a new fresh Marijuana Anthem. The song and the video are cheeky, playful pieces which explore the uses of cannabis.
“Zion, Zion, my eyes are red and I’m floating again oh Lord, oh Lord!” Etana escapes to (and invites listeners to join her) another place, the emotional and spiritual heights of Mount Zion. Both song and video form a contemporary response to some government’s policy of prohibition frequently embroiled in and dependent on ignorance and fear. Zion is a feel good dance track that mixes the traditional Reggae drum and bas dub step vibe with hip-hop, electronic and EDM beats.
