Trinbagonian Anya Ayoung-Chee’s controversial start on Project Runway has culminated in a showing at Fashion Week during Project Runway’s finale episode. Rumors were flying that Tim Gunn had been spotted on the island of Trinidad so it was already a foregone conclusion that Anya had made it to the final runway.
For the final challenge Anya teamed up with Bert Keeter to pull off the stunning, creative and Joshua-hating pieces that landed her the first position at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
I loved that Bert had one more opportunity to give it to Joshua. It was poetic justice!! Check out a clip of Anya and Bert on last night’s Project Runway episode.
Joshua McKinley seems to hate on anyone that does better than he! He trash talked Anya’s $20,000 challenge win but in the end there is something called natural born talent. Anya is admittedly no seamstress but she is the most talented, original, outside-the-box, creative designer on Season 13 of Project Runway. And Anya is Trini to da bone!!! Take that Joshua!!!!
I along with the rest of the Caribbean will be cheering for Anya Ayoung-Chee as she hits the runway at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week!!! Make it work Anya!!
