Six-time Grammy winner Stephen Marley is about to drop his new album Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life, on July 22.
The highly anticipated album includes guest features from the who’s who in hip hop and reggae including Busta Rhymes, Rakim, Wyclef Jean, DJ Khaled, Iggy Azalea, Rick Ross, Pit Bull, Damian ‘Junior Gong’ Marley, Shaggy, Black Thought (of The Roots), Ky-Mani Marley, Jo Mersa, Bounty Killer, Sizzla, Waka Flocka Flame, and Dead Prez.
The album is the followup to his 2011 project Revelation Part I: The Root of Life. That album focuses on roots reggae while this followup will showcase the diversity of reggae music and it’s influences on other genres including hip hop/rap.
Stephen “Ragga” Marley is the son of the late reggae legend Bob Marley. Stephen along with his brother Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley will be performing aboard the 3rd Annual Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise sailing November 2016. By the way, his brother Ziggy just dropped an album last week! They stay hustlin’.
