Caribbean Radio/Television personality Joan Tasty and Delicious Savoury departed this life unexpected at home Wednesday June 8th 2011 of natural causes. To cherish her memory she leaves 2 loving daughters Denise Walters and Aisha Savoury, 2 Son-in-laws Jamal Walters and Michael Jordan, 1 sister Joy Smalls, four grandchildren Shedrick, Jaylin, Rayven, Rhyan and a host of family, friends and colleague. Those who knew her will certainly remember her soulful laughter, comedic wit, flashy style, and that short blondish hair that became her signature trademark. Regardless of how you were acquainted with her, she was a radiant presence in the Atlanta Caribbean community, and was inclusive of everything Caribbean in Atlanta.

The family of Joan Savoury, wishes to express their deepest and heartfelt appreciation for all the loving expression and sympathy extended to them during their hour of sorrow. Date for Home Going Service is Saturday June 18, 2011. Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming as it becomes available.
