BK Fashion Week commenced just last week and our team is exhausted but elated that’s it’s over! From bright hues, to sexy resort wear, vinyl frocks and super hero swag, BK Fashion Week was all the rave. Our team couldn’t possibly attend every fashion show and event however we hit up a few. The RCS team was front and center for many of the designers at BK Fashion Week in Sunset Park. We also attended the highly anticipated Triple The Focus magazine fashion showcase where Caribbean flava ruled the runway! We wrapped it all up with a fashion, beauty and networking event with Sheen Magazine at Pranna magazine in NYC.
While some designers infused fantasy and whimsy into their collection, others exhibited a strong aesthetic with one color like drennaLuna. Even accessories were on the runway by Pieces NY with a vivacious point of view!
Designers from all over the world were in town to flaunt their spring collections with global flare! Designers from Ghana, Poland, Nigeria, Phillipines etc. Designer Gregory Kankoh brought his color game all the way from Ghana!
Additionally, Caribbean and African American flava graced magazine covers like GEM, Triple The Focus and Sheen! We will be sharing all of this and more this weekend for RCS Fashion Weekend!
