Monday night, over 500 VIPs in business, philanthropy and entertainment gathered at the Studio Museum in Harlem to celebrate the red carpet launch of REVOLT TV‘s community initiative, “HELLO Harlem” – a summer series to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem (BGCH). Businesses represented included Yahoo!, Ernest & Young, American Express, Universal Music, Sony Music, Pepsi, Foot Locker, GlobalHue, Tribal Worldwide the Mayor’s office and the NFL.
Special guests included Bevy Smith (Bravo’s “Fashion Queens”), Hisham Tawfiq (NBC’s “The Blacklist”), Kid Capri (celebrity DJ), Bridget Kelly (artist),Kwame Jackson (NBC’s “The Apprentice”), Ursula Stephens (celeb hairstylist),Delisha Milton Jones (New York Liberty), Stromae (Belgian artist), Sanford Biggers (artist), Elizabeth Colomba (artist), Marc John Jeffries (“Losing Isaiah” & “Notorious”)and more. Sponsored by AQUAhydrate, The Harlem Brewing Company, Sean Johnand Ciroc, and supported by Harlem Park to Park, the HELLO Harlem launch featured remarks by Kai Wright, REVOLT TV VP of Communications, and Shirley Lewis, BGCH Chair, along with a special presentation by the children of the BGCH. The evening also featured a performance by Grammy-nominated artist Luke James, who sang Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel” as well as his hits “Make Love To Me” and the Grammy-nominated single, “I Want You.”.
