The 12th Annual Grace Atlanta Caribbean Jerk Festival went down on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the Georgia International Horsepark in Conyers, Georgia.
Each year, the highly anticipated event includes performances from internationally-renowned performing artists, children’s play zone, arts and craft vendors, and a smorgasbord of Caribbean foods, flavors and scents.
The festivities are the backdrop for the jerk competition to win the highly coveted title of Atlanta’s Top Jerk Chef.This year, for the second time in Atlanta Jerkfest history a female won the top honors!
This year’s performers included Alison Hinds, Inner Circle, Anthony Malvo, Josey Wales, Christopher Martin, Tanto Metro & Devonte, Errol Moore, Mixmaster David, and Stone Love. Despite this year’s unfortunate time constraint challenges, which meant Barrington Levy did not have an opportunity to perform, a safe, fun and enjoyable time was had by most.
