New Music From Gyptian and TeeJay – Strictly The Best Vol. 61

As we get closer to the release date for Strictly The Best Vol. 61, VP Records is sharing 2 new songs with you from the project:  Gyptian’s “Warm and Easy” and TeeJay’s “True Colors.”


Gyptian has experienced success performing Lover’s Rock songs such as “Slow Wine,” “SLR” and “All On Me.”  “Warm and Easy” produced by Michelle Williams is in the same groove.  Fans hear Gyptian’s trademark vocals as he tells that special Lady she makes loving her ‘warm and easy.’

TeeJay’s swagger on “True Colors” cannot be denied.  Using the Trap-Dancehall beat created by Okino ‘WAV’ Thomas and Otego Thompson, TeeJay tells the story of a girl who is ready to show her ‘true colors.’  Fans will appreciate the artists storytelling approach.

Strictly The Best Vol. 61 is due in stores and all digital streaming platforms on Friday November 20th, 2020.

The latest edition to the long running compilation series includes new singles and music videos.  Launched with the Richie Spice track “Murderer (featuring Dre Island),” the lyric video premiered on the VP Records YouTube channel. The official music video for “Gimme A Light” from up and coming singer Bella Blair debuted on Jamaicans.com.

The song and Mini-Movie music video for Busy Signal’s “Seen It Before” will be the next release.

Strictly the Best is the annual compilation of emerging hits and breaking artists on the contemporary reggae scene. STB 61 is 24 of the hottest current and upcoming hits, ranging from Alborosie to Alkaline, from Bella Blair to Busy Signal. Fans of roots reggae, lovers rock and dancehall flock to the Strictly The Best brand with confidence. Established July 1991, Strictly The Best is the longest running compilation series in reggae.
