According to TMZ.com, former New York Giant turned TV megahost, Michael Strahan learned that he was chosen to fill the seat next to Kelly Ripa left open by Regis Philbin nearly a year ago.
Michael and his fiancée, Nicole Murphy (she’s the one in the bikini!! Nicole is currently starring in ‘Hollywood Wives’) were in JamDown pon di river, pon di bank, at the beach when he got the long-awaited news that he would be the permanent co-host on ‘Live with Kelly’.
Many celebrities have filled in for the coveted co-host gig while Kelly and the ‘Live’ team made a decision including Kim Kardashian, Mary J. Blige, Nick Lachey and Josh Grobin.
Congratulations to Michael, he was my number one draft pick from day one!
