After eight months of incarceration, Young Money’s fearless leader, Lil Wayne is a free man. Lil Wayne walked out of Rikers Island Thursday morning around 8:35AM. The rapper had been serving time for a July 2007 gun-possession charge.
Young Money President Mack Maine told MTV News on Wednesday that Wayne plans to celebrate his freedom with a party at a Miami strip club on Sunday. “[We] just treat him like a king, like the royalty that he is and make him feel like we really missed him and welcome him back to the family, basically.”
