The latest Hollywood couple to call it splits is Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou. The good news is that there won’t be any messy divorce issues since the couple never legally married. According to Kimora, the couple who met in 2007, following Kimora’s divorce from hip hop mogul Russell Simmons (i.e. Hounsou was the unfortunate rebound dude) have been separated for some time. The pair have a beautiful son, Kenzo Lee Hounsou.and will continue to co-parent as per Kimora’s tweet:

The “rumors” Kimora Lee refers to were circulating back in June and speculated that ex-hubby Russell Simmons would no longer be funding the couple’s extravagant lifestyle and that the couple were splitting due to a big fight over money.
I seriously doubt that one fight broke up the couple and wish them both continued success. Kimora is already well on her way to being her very own mogul! Kimora, a former model, is the brains behind shoes and handbags website JustFab.com, Kimora has two daughters from her marriage to Russell Simmons Ming Lee, 12, and Aoki Lee, 10.
