The Jamaica Reggae Film Festival 2010 gets underway tomorrow in Kingston, Jamaica. The Reggae Film Festival will kick off with a swanky red carpet gala at the Hilton Kingston (host hotel). The gala will premier the Japanese reggae documentary Ruffn’ Tuff – Founders of the Immortal Riddim (watch trailer below). Making appearances in the film are Leroy Sibbles, Bob Andy, Gregory Isaacs, and John Holt. The festival will run from February 25th through February 27th.
Other films at this year’s festival include Concrete Jungle by Kurt Fuller (2010), Reggae in The Ruff by Don McConnell, Rastafari: Then & Now by Joel Gordon & Patricia Scarlett (2009), Duke Vin & The Birth Of SKA by Gus Berger (2008), Rasta’s Paradise by Parine Jaddo (2008) and the list goes on
